Investigación para la mejora de la farmacoterapia del paciente, focalizado principalmente en la innovación farmacéutica y tecnologías relacionadas con el proceso farmacoterapéutico, a través de la intervención farmacéutica especializada. Los objetivos se centran en lograr una mayor eficacia, seguridad, calidad de vida y eficiencia del tratamiento farmacológico.

Se presenta un nuevo grupo asociado, enmarcado en el Área de terapias avanzadas e innovación diagnóstica y de Bioingeniería y biotecnologías sanitarias.
Pretende ser un grupo eminentemente farmacéutico, de carácter colaborativo y participado por varias instituciones.
